  7.                      IMPORTANT UPGRADE INFORMATION

  9. Upgrading from InfoMail 1.00
  10.  
  11.         If you are upgrading from InfoMail 1.00 it is important that you
  12.         run INFOMAIL -U (or INFO386 -U) before trying to use InfoMail.
  13.         Many of the new features made a file format change necessary,
  14.         and InfoMail 1.10 won't read InfoMail 1.00 data files.

  16.         The -U option does a fast upgrade for document details, and sets
  17.         the following defaults for the new document list entries:

  32.         The document name is preserved.  Macros is set to No in case
  33.         there are any braces {} in the document text (see documentation
  34.         for details of macros).  Status is set to Kill if the Kill
  35.         setting in your old InfoMail 1.00 setup was set to Yes.  It is
  36.         left empty if Kill in InfoMail 1.00 was set to No.

  40.         The author makes no guarantees for this or any other part of
  41.         InfoMail.  It is important, particularly if you have set up a
  42.         lot of documents, that you make a backup of your existing
  43.         InfoMail directory before attempting an upgrade.
